It’s something I keep asking myself. Is it the invitation of a blank canvas? Or the colours I want to dance with? Is it the joy of those playful moments? However, it’s something I can’t do without.
And yes, it’s a bit of my ego, shouting for attention. Let’s be honest about that! I know many people won’t show this part. But it’s there. And I allow it to be there. I accept it. Nevertheless, it shouldn’t be my guidance. If I feel I need a complement or appreciation I will not post anything on Instagram, promised!
What will be my guidance is truth purity, and my desire to inspire (this could be a Bob Marley song). So, that’s my mission and I hope I do inspire you to make wonderful art. And to answer the question: why are you making art?
