More about this painting

“For this collage project I collected all kinds of paper. Most of them I made myself. Before I started painting I worked out this composition based on a still life, which I usually don’t do. Mostly I just begin and see how it grows. So for me this felt like mathematics. But I’m very pleased with this one though. The lines already set gave me much freedom to work it out and look for even better shapes.”
