“One of my 2019 painting goals was to work with blue more often. Also I wanted to make a painting for my brother and his family. And as they’re loving blue, I killed to birds with one stone. I used many new techniques, like using old papers, ‘failed’ gelliplate prints and the little flowers were made with acrylic inks and brush pens. I could work on this forever… or just start a new painting in the same style. I did the last, in Freshness, which is more green, but same techniques.
