“I sent this as a gratitude card to all my living angels who prayed for me in their own way when I had my surgery on cataract. To me that was a very hard time, because my sight was reduced to only 5% (with one eye). A couple of friends and family members came together at a small church dedicated to Maria. When I was creating this one, a week after the surgery succeeded, I had a strong vision of Maria and Jesus. 

The Dutch name of the painting ’Toverzicht’ means a state of clarity in which you can overview anything from a distance.”
