“When I was walking in my favourite park, nearby Chateau Marquette in Heemskerk, I discovered this amazing yellow flowers. With a client of mine we went outside to paint them. Not knowing the name of the flowers, I asked some people passing by, and someone told me it were Spring Sunflowers. I’ve been painting all day long and in the end, as the light became brighter and brighter, it was getting cold. I completed this one at home, using acrylic ink to bring in more detail to the yellow flowers.”
